MEGAPORT Ltd. was founded in 1992 and is a leader on the Balkan Peninsula in the production of polymer and co-polymer films, packaging and materials. The total area of ​​our factories is over 20,000 sq.m. The investments made aim to increase the capacity and quality of the manufactured products and to improve the efficiency of the production.

The company believes in the future of recycling and have invested in the latest generation of cleaning and recycling equipment. The final product in the form of high quality foils, sleeves and garbage bags are well received both on the Bulgarian and international market.

All efforts are aimed at closing the technological cycle and 100 percent recycling of our packaging. In 2014, MEGAPORT invested in new dishwashers, palletizing lines and expanded its production capacity.

More than 500 people work in the factories and sales offices in the cities of Veliko Tarnovo, Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas.

About 60% of the production is for the domestic market, and the foreign customers are from different countries: Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Denmark, Greece, Romania, Macedonia and others.

In 2009 MEGAPORT covered the ISO 9001: 2008 standard from UNITED Registar of Systems Ltd.

In May 2014 the standards were covered: ISO 14001, ISO 18001.
