The image of plastics has suffered substantially over the last months. In the meantime the EU has initiated regulations which request more use of recyclates in plastic products, especially in the field of packaging but also beyond.
However the practical use of more recyclates is challenging and a closer exchange between converters and machine manufacturers is therefore very important.
EuPC together with the German VDMA and the Italian AMAPLAST & EUROMAP organise a first joint workshop. The Workshop focusses on the practical use of recyclates in plastic products and will offer four parallel sessions:
- Injection moulding by ENGEL
- Film Stretching by Brüker Technolgies
- Blow Moulding by Magic MP
- Thermoforming by Amut Comi
Other technolgies will follow later this year.
We are looking forward in getting your experiences and insights on how these converting technolgies could develop in the future in order to contribute to the objectives of the EU Plastics Strategy.
